I have nothing but great things to say about Sara. First, her ability to create images that brilliantly capture the words swirling during a facilitated session is the best I have ever experienced. I have been facilitating for over 15 years and the introduction of Sara as part of my team the past two years has significantly altered the quality of output and the experience of people I work with. Rather than my needing to stay "linear" and capture words on flipcharts - Sara captures stories that serve as powerful reminders of all that was shared during the session - and I am able to stay with what is really alive in the groups I am working with.
What I also love about working with Sara is that she is cool, calm, and collected amidst the ever present unexpected happenings before, during and after sessions. She is able to stay tuned to what is important and what needs to be done and shared.
As for the clients who have had the privilege of having Sara work with them ... their initial hesitation to bring her in out of not knowing what a graphic facilitator does or what the impact is replaced with glowing words and long term reference to her work long after she is gone. They regularly ask for her in subsequent sessions. Several clients have her graphical representation of their strategy up on the walls in their offices, and this has led to other clients asking to include her on their strategic engagement processes.
Do I have any reservations about Sara? NONE. Just a wish to work with her more often and for more clients to leverage the incredible difference that graphical representation of their ideas makes.
